In January 1997, Ian joined the Eagle’s Flight team as the Chief Operating Officer. He has held various roles since then and is currently President, Global Business.
As President, Global Business, Ian’s responsibility is the growth of our global market. With representation in over 40 countries worldwide, he oversess the recruitment, management and direction of our Global Team and Licensees. Ian’s strong business acumen and keen understanding of people has helped him become extremely successful at this. He assesses the potential of new partners and works closely with each of the businesses to ensure they reach their potential in representing the Eagle's Flight products in their market. Ian is also a key facilitator within our organization, primarily working with executive level clients focusing on leadership rollouts and effective presentation skills.
Ian brings along a wide range of valuable experience. Prior to joining Eagle’s Flight, he spent 12 years at Nestlé Canada. In that time, he held various positions, including Director of International Business Development, Director of Human Resource Development-National, and Manager of Training and Development. The last position he held at Nestlé was Director of Human Resources, Staffing-National. His responsibilities included hiring, as well as improving the recruiting, selection and hiring process.
Ian has earned an Honours BA in Political Science and Economics from Queen’s University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of British Columbia.
Ian has worked with clients such as Allergan, Parmalat, Foothill Capital, ArvinMeritor and AstraZeneca.
